I have a complete photographer crush on the work of Elif Karacoc. These photographs are sheer heaven, dreamy and ethereal. Oh I am in love! (via We Heart It)
Sometimes I feel fragile, fragmented
as if there is no moon in my sky
I don't know what it is that I so fiercely desire
only that I am trying to breathe under water, I long for clarity, but everything seems opaque and I cannot see what lies in front of me
I feel asleep, my world is an endless dream, there is no memory and no forgetting
I crave the freedom of open spaces
I want to dance under the wide open sky, and listen to the call of the birds in the dying afternoon light.
I love this vintage photo, it's one of my favourites, her beauty is so elegant and timeless.

How cute is this illustration by Katrine K? I love how the artist has included the wallpaper design in the background.
And these works by Japanese artist Ayco are so beautiful, there is a wonderful fragility about them.
And finally, this photo was me messing around earlier today.

Such a lovely post - yet again. I'd never heard of Elif Karacoc, but I fully agree with you - those photographs are beautiful. I love the serenity in them, and how I can almost dive into the pictures.
ReplyDeleteKatrine K's illustrations are also really pretty.
