I have counted all the stars and swallowed the moon

I've had a long day today, my mind feels pretty much wiped,
and all I'm good for is some mindless TV....well, busy
watching the third season of The Tudors, which I think
is really good. Seeing I can't think of anything to say
right now, I'll leave you with one of my favourite
poems, Howl, by Allen Ginsberg.

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by

madness, starving hysterical naked,
dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn
looking for an angry fix,
angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly
connection to the starry dynamo in the machin-
ery of night,
who poverty and tatters and hollow-eyed and high sat
up smoking in the supernatural darkness of
cold-water flats floating across the tops of cities
contemplating jazz,
who bared their brains to Heaven under the El and
saw Mohammedan angels staggering on tene-
ment roofs illuminated,
who passed through universities with radiant cool eyes
hallucinating Arkansas and Blake-light tragedy
among the scholars of war.....

You will find the rest of the poem here.

I love these series of images by Knotan, especially the top one.

Amazing colours and beautiful use of light by Marie Ek. When I did my photography course we learned that photography means painting with light and I think this is a perfect example.

Some sweet photo's by Ali Bosworth, you can find more of her photo's here and here.
