Blue is the colour of lonliness and forgetting
Today has been a hectically busy Sunday. In the morning as mentioned previously, I went off early to the botanical gardens with my photography class to take photo's. It was good, but incredibly cold until the sun was up properly. Today is Mother's Day over here, so the rest of the day was spent with family, and eating and eating and eating:) Now it's night time, Monday is approaching, hence the blue themed post. I hope everyone has a fabulous week!

I send you a thousand tiny kisses
Today is one of those very quiet, solitary days. We are moving closer to Winter, and the air is silent and chilled. It's a kind of lonely weather day. I don't feel lonely, I feel a sense of solitude which I enjoy. I feel kind of like the solitary ocean woman photograph - alone but exhilarated. Perhaps not quite exhilarated - but happy and content. Fortunately I happen to be one of those people who enjoy my own company. In fact I often prefer to be alone than with people.
Tomorrow is a holiday over here....yay!!! I haven't decided what to do yet, I 'll see what I feel like when I wake up....and that's what I like best, no plans to have to stick to.

It's cold out there, but I'm warm inside
Today I'm feeling inspired by
pink, pink, pink, happy and bright.
Pink to banish away the blues
pink to wipe away black and
all the other colours and tones of sadness, fear or worry.
Today I'm inspired by love,
and by a cozy house
keeping the icy wind outside.
I hope this pink post will make you happy. I especially love the second picture, there's just something very compelling about it. It's one of my favourite images - unfortunately it's been saved on my computer for ages, and I can't remember where I found it.

I've drunk too much, said too much, can we go home now?
I don't know where this week has gone...scary. The weather has turned and Winter has arrived, it's really quite cold now....brrrrr. Here are some of the pictures and quotes inspiring me today.
