Too tired to think clearly

I have to confess that I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Somehow between yesterday morning and afternoon I managed to come down with a fairly bad case of the flu. Not that I'm on death's doorstep or anywhere near, but it's just bad enough to be very annoying and uncomfortable. I'm being a total hypochondriac when I say this, but right now I'm thinking it would be nice to be a character in a Jane Austin novel so I could gently swoon off into a canopied bed, and have someone wipe my feverish brow and read to me:) Okay, my brow is not that feverish but I'm sure you get the general idea.

Since I haven't done a decor post for a while, I've decided to share some images of my various dream scenarios. Have a great weekend.

This has to be the most awesome bathroom I've ever seen -can you imagine how amazing it must be to lie in that bath taking in the scenery and the open air.

I dream of romance edged in beauty

Today I decided to do a post of dreamy interiors that I've been collecting and wanted to share. In some way, each room appeals to me - I like the simplicity, and the touches of romantic vintage, and the restful but pretty colours. Each space is a place I could dream in and be at be peace, and each room is a reflection of the owners personality - to me, these are some of the important elements of the dream house I have in my mind. What would your dream house be like, and where would it be?

Have a happy weekend dear friends.

Here are some of the lovely things that have been inspiring me today.....and it's been a long day, so just keeping it short.

I am crazy for inspiration boards and inspiration corners, I love this one. (via decor8)

It's Saturday and I'm OK

I completely LOVE Saturdays, Friday you have the whole weekend stretched ahead of you, Saturday you are in the weekend, enjoying the time off from the week. Saturdays are for spending time with the boyfriend, going shopping, seeing friends and family, going to cafes or restaurants or to the movies, taking it easy or being busy with self chosen activities depending on what your heart desires....it's a time of of freedom and a time of personal choice. You can party like there's no tomorrow, or you can take it easy, take things as they come.
